Every mode on the panel, and everything after. Open one to see what it does, what is worth knowing, and how to fix a capture that came out wrong.

Getting started
The panel

Capture happens on the page, not in here.

Go to any site and press the Loey icon in your toolbar. The panel opens on the page you are looking at: a still, a full page, a scroll, a recording or a click-through, and everything you take lands in the Library within a second.

Size
2× is retina-sharp. 1× has a quarter of the pixels, for smaller files.
Format
PNG keeps every pixel. JPEG and WebP are far smaller; WebP keeps transparency, JPEG does not.
Hold motion in the capture window
Animations and video are held still for Viewport and Area captures. Off to capture them as they run.

Video

Defaults applied to every recording.

Frame rate
60 fps is smoother. 30 fps makes smaller files.
Retina (2×)
Double resolution for sharper playback. Larger files.

Diagnostics

What Loey logged during recent captures. Copy this when something looks wrong.

Appearance

How Loey itself looks. Captures are never affected.

The surface tone in light mode.

The device boards, every dial. For setting the looks users choose from. (Studio is the mode; these are its dials.)
